In May of 2008, a few citizens in Danville, Kentucky sought the possibility of starting a true Baptist Church. It was to be patterned after the kind Christ started so many years ago. After much prayer and several meetings, the group of men and women received authority from Devondale Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. Bro. Jeff King was elected as pastor and over the next several years the Lord blessed them.
Today, Danville Baptist Church is a congregation that continues to strive to reach the lost and make the disciple a knowledgeable servant for the Lord to use. In both the Kingdom of our Lord and His Temple/Church, we strive to be faithful and profitable as we follow after him in His service.
